Cabin services

A building on its own is a shell. What makes it usable is the fit-out — a kitchen, a shower room, power at the end of the garden, a floor that holds its heat — and nearly every decision about it is cheaper while the cabin is still on paper than after it is standing.

The six pages below set out what we design and supply, what can be arranged on site, and what we do not do. The line is the same on all of them, so it is worth stating once here.

What is always ours

Design, manufacture and delivery across the UK, with advice for as long as the project takes. That much never depends on where you are — see Managed Builds.

What is arranged, never assumed

Groundworks, assembly and the fitted trades. We do not carry that work out ourselves, and nothing here is a promise that we can arrange someone who will: ask, and we will tell you plainly what we can put together for your location before you commit to anything. Where we cannot, you get a specification your own trades can price and work from.

Decide the services early

Pipework and cable routes go in before the walls are lined, so a shower room or a kitchenette added later means opening up what you have just paid to close. If you are still working out what the building needs, start with what drives the cost, how warm it has to be, or the layout itself.
