Timber garages

Fully enclosed, with walls and a door, to lock a car and tools away. From a single garage of 5.2 × 3.2 m up to a double of 6 × 6 m, all in 44mm timber.

Carports

An open roof on timber posts — the quick, affordable way to keep the weather off. From a single 6 × 3 m up to a double 6 × 6 m. Add walls later if you want to close it in.

Garage & carport combinations

The best of both: a garage to lock up alongside an open carport, or a garage with a workshop room built on. From about 6.6 × 5.4 m to 7.5 × 6 m, and larger to your plan.

Planning permission

A garage or carport usually falls under Permitted Development, so no planning application is needed — but size, height and position matter, and the rules differ near a boundary or a road. We advise before you commit.

Yes. A double garage of about 6 × 6 m holds two cars with room to move around them. We size every garage to your vehicles and your plot, so nothing is a squeeze — tell us what you park and we make it to fit.

A garage is fully enclosed, with walls and a door, to lock a car and tools away. A carport is an open roof on posts — cheaper, quicker, and enough to keep the weather off. A combined build puts the two together, or adds a workshop room to the side. We make all three.

A solid, level base is essential for the long-term performance and warranty of your building. Suitable bases include a concrete slab, concrete block piers, or compacted hardcore with paving slabs. The base must be level to within 5mm across its entire area. We can provide detailed guidance on base specifications. Groundworks are the customer's responsibility; if you would like us to help arrange them, ask and we will quote for that separately.

Our buildings are supplied with standard door locks as standard. We also offer upgraded security options including heavy-duty padbar sets, five-lever mortice locks, and reinforced door and window fittings. For garden office use in particular, we recommend fitting a suitable alarm and considering additional physical security measures.
