Clean, clear, healthy water comes down to two things: moving it and treating it. A pump pushes the water through a filter; the filter takes out the dirt; a little chemistry keeps it balanced. Get those right and the pool looks after itself.

The heart of the pool. A pump circulates the water so the filter can clean it. Variable-speed models run slow and quiet for everyday filtering, then step up when you need more flow — and use far less energy doing it.

Where the dirt comes out. Water passes through a bed of media or a fine cartridge, which traps the particles before the clean water returns to the pool. Sized to the pump and the pool, from compact cartridge units to large sand filters.

What goes inside a sand filter. Traditional silica sand, or glass media that filters finer and lasts longer. The right grade and layering keep the water polished and the filter running well.

The waterproof skin of the pool, and its finish. Choose a plain colour, a tile-band trim, or a patterned membrane. Reinforced membrane liners are welded to fit and stand up to years of use. Made to your pool.

The finishing touch. A steady sanitiser keeps the water safe, and simple balancers hold the pH, alkalinity and hardness where they should be. Chlorine, bromine or oxygen-based — whatever suits you and your swimmers.
